spip2mediawiki : convert SPIP syntax to Mediawiki

This is a Perl script I wrote when we had to switch MFC from the CMS SPIP to Media Wiki. In this form, it’s intended to be put on a web server as an online tool.

It’s not by far perfect, but it does already 80+% of the job. Some things you will still have to do by hand:

  • conversion of internal links
  • handling of images, attachments and medias

Instructions :

  • Download spip2mediawikipl.doc
  • Rename the file to spip2mediawiki.pl (WordPress.com doesn’t allow to upload .pl files)
  • Upload it to your server and use it, or hack it a bit to use it from the command line
